Questions that need answering

Finding closure even when you still have unanswered questions is a choice that comes with lots of self-reflection. After you’ve done all you can then the only option left is to find closure. Close the door to the past, close the what ifs and the maybes. Accept things as they are and move on.

I have been in a few of these situations where finding closure seemed impossible. There was always one more question that I wanted to ask. Maybe I thought just maybe that one question would give me the answers that I needed. My mind refused to let go it was always “try a little harder, dig a little deeper”

With all the digging all that I got back was more unanswered questions. Doubting the obvious and refusing to let go only left the door open and no closure. Relationships are sometimes like that. One party hopes to find the answer while the other is unwilling or incapable of giving the answer. Whenever that happens the only thing to do is find closure on your own. You’ll be doing your mental health a favour and most of all the chance for something new. Sometimes new possibilities present themselves only when you’re willing to embrace them.

So go ahead and close that chapter, accept the unanswered questions and most importantly find closure.
