So here I am trying to get my Shopify online store up and running. Gotta let you know I am not the computer tech type let’s put like this “I struggle”. Each day I do my best: updating and resizing product photos, making my product descriptions as descriptive as possible, tweaking this, tweaking that. Sometimes I feel as if I am not making enough progress as I would like to and other times I do see great results.
I am still waiting to make my first sale which seems like forever. I am in an unknown territory and it can be frustrating at times but still I push on through.
I have tried Facebook ads, Facebook story, Instagram you name it, word a mouth, family friends or whatever it takes to make that sale. Family have helped in the past but this time I want to stand on my own and make that sale. I have so many friends on Facebook but for some of them pressing the like or follow button probably means they’ll lose a finger or something! LOL
I couldn’t help myself with that, I had to get it off my chest. Not asking much just a little support that’s all, besides what are we friends for if we can’t support each other.
Anyways, I am still working on my store and although it’s challenging I know that this process is going to do me good in the end. I am not the kind that quits or gives up easily. The more something seems difficult the more it pushes me to want to solve it, I like fixing stuff, I like making things work.
I can picture my first sale already and the satisfaction it going to give me seeing all my hard work pay off. Just in case you’re wondering I sell handmade toiletry beauty products and accessories.
I decided to write this post because writing helps me to clear my mind and gives me the opportunity to stay out of my head. I Just realized how many stunning photos are available on WordPress, thanks to all those who have contributed. I have so many ideas that can be valuable in improving my online store just by what I have seen so far.
For today that’s where I am, I’ll continue putting my thoughts out there where I can find clarity.
