Do you see yourself as a leader?
To lead you first need to follow. Following allows you to learn the mechanisms at bottom chain. As in all walks of life you can’t be a leader if you have no idea how being follower feels.
I see myself as a leader because I have learnt what it takes to lead. I know what it takes to lead through my experience as a follower. Being a leader is hard work you have to know the pain points of your followers and know what it takes to get them to cooperate. You have to know what their difficulties are in order to help them. You have to know how to resolve their perplexities, their needs and their wants. I could go on and on about why I see myself as a leader but I’ll leave it at that. I know what it takes because I have been there.

Wow! What a great point! Reading your point, makes me feel more confident. I have also been at the bottom, and I know how NOT to treat others, because of how I was treated, especially by a lot of leaders, that should not have been a leader.
Thank you for reading my post and thank you also for the comment! 🙏🏽
A follower at grassroot level can be the best leader.
I think our PM is a good example…He started at a grassroot level.
Your post is short but emphatic. Keep it up.

Thank you, glad to know that you enjoyed it.
I’ve never been a leader, whether in cadets, or in any other facet of life. I guess you have a personality of a leader
Thank you, I am also learning to be not too emotionally involved in my decision making when it’s necessary to be objective.
