through all the difficulties and setbacks
for all those times that I thought that the devil was on my back
I stuck it through, I widened my view
recalculation,
anticipation,
found myself on the brink of desperation
the harder it seemed
the brighter it gleamed
when my circumstances screamed no
and everyone else said to let it go
I held on tight with all my might
refusing to give up without a fight
it was destiny’s will
to help me improve my skill
now at last that moment has passed
as I look back I can barely grasp how I made it through
I knew that someone from up above
would continue to show me his undying love
victory over my circumstances, my fears and my doubts
when things sometimes just don’t work out
victory in believing that there will always be
a way for me to face what life throws at me
