I have lived this life before… Déjà vu

I have lived this life before. All the different stages of my life have been repeated over and over again. How come I didn’t notice that my choices were the same? How come I didn’t notice that my fears were the same? Same choices, same results, same fears, same pain. Now I stand from the other side looking at me and my choices, my patterns, what I thought was possible for me, what I thought that I needed. For the first time I am aware of what drives me, what makes me function, what hinders me, what stops me from being the best version of myself.

More knowledge, more wisdom, more understanding, more enlightenment. I am not my choices, not my fears, not my pain, not my yesterdays, not my failures. What am I then? I am like the beginning of a new day, each day I get to start from scratch, I take only the lessons that I have learnt. More wisdom, more knowledge, more understanding, more enlightenment.
